Selection criteria:
You must not be older than 26 at the time of application.
You must be a first-time applicant for the International Selection grant.
You must not have spent more than ten months in France during the election year or before.
Before applying, you must have completed at least one year of undergraduate education outside of France.
Study abroad for at least two years as an undergraduate by September 1st after acceptance.
Research interest, curiosity, and an open mind are necessary.
You must possess exceptional academic credentials.

Compile the application form, a copy of your passport, your transcripts, your diploma, your resume, your research project, your motivation letter, and your letters of recommendation.
Visit the ENS Application Portal to complete and verify the initial application form.
To activate your account on Dematec, you must upload the necessary documentation in PDF format within two days of checking your email.
Verify that your Dematec file is complete. After it has been verified, it will be sent to the jury for evaluation.
Ask academic referees for two to four recommendation letters and give them submission guidelines.
