Flinders Postgraduate Research Scholarship Selection Criteria:
- The University’s Guidelines for ranking Postgraduate research scholarship applications will be followed to rank the applications.
- The scholarship committee will choose recipients of awards based on their potential for further research and their academic standing.
- Students pursuing a higher degree through research for the first time will receive priority treatment from the university.
Flinders Postgraduate Research Scholarship Eligibility:
- Intend to start studying full-time for a higher degree through research in Australia the year the prize is given out, for the first time.
- Meet the requirements for admission to a higher degree program through research, including the English proficiency requirements.
- Be students who started a higher degree by research the previous year but were unable to apply for an FIPRS in that year due to the timing of their admissions and subsequent enrolment, or who started a higher degree by research and ended that enrolment within six months of starting, to be taken into consideration.
- Be foreign nationals, excluding citizens of New Zealand, and not Australian citizens
- Plan to enroll in one of the university’s research specialization areas.
Flinders Postgraduate Research Scholarship Application Procedure:
- Applicants from abroad should use Studylink to apply and create an ID.
- Use the Student ID you received at registration along with the birthdate you supplied to activate your account. Activate your account using this LINK
- Submit your application to the HDR scholarship group on an international level.
- You must apply for admission to a higher degree by research (PhD or Master of Arts by research) before you may apply for an AGRTPS and FIPRS. This must be done after applying to the International RHD Scholarship group. For more information, please go to the application page.
- You are not required to reapply for admission if you currently hold a valid offer of admission to a higher degree by research.
