The Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellowships in the United States are currently accepting applications.
The goal is to assist those working on American democracy and human development research projects.
When selected, you will get a monthly salary, lodging expenses, and travel reimbursement, among other privileges.
You must send your application by October 1st of each year to be considered.

You will research the democracy and human development topics of the Kellogg Institute and present your findings to the Notre Dame academic community.
Again, you can publish in Kellogg’s peer-reviewed working paper series.

- The application deadline is October 1, every year.
Selection Criteria:
- You will be accepted if you have a PhD in history or social science.
- The Institute may grant funding to candidates who hold a PhD or its equivalent in another field in extraordinary circumstances.
- If you are a smart junior or mid-career researcher you qualify to apply.
- You must be a distinguished senior scholar with a track record of academic distinction
- You must be a graduate with advanced degrees in research although fellowship awards are conditional on the completion of the PhD before the fellowship starts.
- Applications from distinguished academics and practitioners without a PhD are encouraged by the Institute.
- If you are applying as an International student you should have;
- Advanced English language proficiency certification.
- A J-1 Visa and possess a valid passport

How to Apply:
- Submit a cover letter outlining your desired length of stay and expressing your interest in the fellowship
- Your updated Curriculum vitae will be required.
- A statement of the research project you plan to undertake written in 6 to 10 double-spaced pages.
- A project summary of your research in a maximum of 150 words should be submitted
- A detailed biography of yourself in 200 to 300 words.
- You must submit three confidential letters of recommendation by October 7th, 2024.
