The Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship is available to eligible international students at the University of Queensland.
The goal of the Liveris Academy is to develop the next generation of leaders who can tackle big issues in a period of rapid environmental, technological, and socioeconomic change.
The University of Queensland is a top research and education university in Australia. You will benefit from a scholarship valued at $10,000 a year.
In addition, you could be eligible for travel reimbursement of up to $10,000 for exchange and internship, or gap year programs that have been authorized.
The University of Queensland has been educating and collaborating with exceptional individuals for over a century to provide leadership and knowledge for a better society.
Scholarship Breakdown:
- Applications open in July and close in August 2024.
- Computer science and IT, Engineering, Science, and mathematics are the official programs of the scholarship
- The host institution is the University of Queensland
- Supports Undergraduate level studies
- There are five scholarships awarded yearly.
- Studies will take place in Australia
- Both domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification:
- You qualify if you finish or have finished year 12 in the two years preceding the award year 2022 or 2023
- You have to in the year of the award, complete no more than one semester toward the following programs;
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours)
- An engineering-integrated program
- Bachelor of Mathematics
- Have not completed any postsecondary coursework at the bachelor’s degree or above before enrolling in the authorized program (special studies excluded)
- You should not accept another scholarship that conflicts with the awarded scholarship.
Required Documents:
- A copy of your reports from semesters two and twelve or equivalent, as well as your most recent transcript from the University of Queensland if you are already enrolled there.
- A cover letter and your current CV detailing your work experience and achievements.
How to Apply?
- You must prove you fit the requirements for this scholarship, you must make a one-minute or less short film and complete a few short answer questions.
- By email, you will get response to your application. After two days of applying, send an email to liverisacademy@uq.edu.au if you have not gotten an email.
- Your application will be sent to a selection panel for assessment if you are eligible.
- You will receive a notification in writing to schedule an interview if you are chosen.
