The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship is accepting applications from October 1, 2024, until December 31, 2024.
This distinguished scholarship, provided by Nanyang Technological University, is intended for deserving graduates and final-year students globally.
You qualify to apply if you meet the following primary conditions.
If you are an international student with exceptional academic records you can apply. However, preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Benefits of the Scholarship:
- You will be paid a monthly stipend that guarantees you have complete time to devote to your research. For citizens of Singapore, the amount is an astounding S$6,700 for STEM fields and S$4,400 for SSH fields. With monthly stipends of up to S$6,300 for STEM and S$4,000 for SSH, international students are also provided with substantial support.
- Additional allowances will be paid to you. This includes book allowances of S$500 yearly, one-time IT allowances of S$1,500, and conference allowances of up to S$4,000 annually.
- After earning your PhD, you are free to pursue whatever employment path you choose.
- Your annual tuition is covered by the scholarship, freeing you up to concentrate on your research.
- The amount charged for accommodation will be subsidized guaranteeing you a convenient and comfortable living environment.
Who Qualifies to Apply?
- You must hold a bachelor’s degree with the highest grade. You’ll need proof that you’re on schedule to finish your undergraduate degree if you’re still working on it.
- Applications are welcome from Singaporeans, international students, and permanent residents.
How to Apply?
- Get Your Documents Ready: You’ll need your test results (such as GRE or IELTS), recommendation letters, transcripts, educational certifications, and resume. Verify the extensive list of necessary documents on the NTU website.
- Locate a Supervisor: Although it’s not required, it’s strongly advised to look for a possible supervisor before applying. NTU will assign a supervisor based on your research interests if you haven’t chosen one.
