The 2025 OECD Young Associate Program is now accepting applications from eligible candidates, as announced by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
This prestigious program offers selected Young Associates a competitive monthly salary of €3,780.34, exempt from French income tax, along with various additional benefits that may apply based on individual eligibility.

As part of the Young Associate Program, you will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of a seasoned counselor within the Advisors team of the Environment (ENV) Director’s Office.
In this role, the Young Associate will be instrumental in supporting the Director and Deputy Directors, helping the team to effectively articulate and represent the vital work being done in the ENV portfolio during engagements with the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General.

Requirements:
You must have an undergraduate degree in environmental policy, science and management, economics, political science, public policy, or a similar field (graduation date between 1 January 2024 and 1 September 2025) to be eligible
If you are enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or comparable degree program, you will not have your applications taken into consideration.
It is necessary to complete coursework in two of the following subjects: biodiversity management, environmental economics, climate change policy and management, climate geopolitics, and natural resources governance and management.
A thorough awareness of the main environmental issues of our day.
Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in one of the two official languages of the OECD (French or English) and an interest in learning the other.

In addition to benefits based on eligibility, the base wage is 3,780.34 EUR per month, which is exempt from French income tax.
