Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Allocation Process for The Roderick Guthrie Graduate Scholarship

The Lassonde School of Engineering Awards Adjudication Committee will select the scholarship recipient by July 30 for disbursement in the following Fall term.

Notification and Disbursement:

  • The Lassonde Awards Committee will notify the successful candidate after review.
  • The Manager of Graduate Studies will provide the necessary details to the Scholarships & Awards Coordinator at FGS.
  • The Scholarships & Awards Coordinator will post the funds to the student’s account.


Can part-time students apply for the scholarship?

No, the scholarship is only available to full-time graduate students (master’s or doctoral level).

Can I apply if I already have an existing scholarship?

If an applicant has already received a free bursary or has applied for another scholarship offered by the university, then he/she is not eligible for this scholarship.
