The Toronto Metropolitan University Scholarship in Canada 2025 is now open and calling on brilliant international students to apply.
Toronto Metropolitan University is happy to announce it has set aside an amount of $10 million in financial support for deserving students.
The Toronto Metropolitan University Scholarship program is also open to Canadian students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs.
The scholarships offered are the Terence Grier Entrance Scholarship, the International Secondary School Merit Scholarship, and the President’s Entrance Scholarship.

Available Scholarships:
Terence Grier Entrance Scholarship: The Terence Grier Entrance Scholarship recognizes the accomplishments of the university’s President, who served from 1988 to 1995.
Specifically, it commemorates his guidance during a period of significant transformation at Toronto Metropolitan University, which resulted in the school gaining university status. It supports one recipient and only for the full first-year tuition fees.
International Secondary School Merit Scholarship: International students starting their first year of a four-year undergraduate program at Toronto Metropolitan University who exhibit academic excellence, a dedication to extracurricular activities and volunteer work, and leadership qualities are eligible to apply for the International Secondary School Merit Scholarship. Selected applicants will benefit from a $5,000 scholarship award.
President’s Entrance Scholarships: Graduates of secondary schools who exhibit academic achievement, leadership abilities, innovative thought, and creative aptitude are given the President’s Entrance Scholarship.Twelve recipients in total with a yearly award value of $10,000.
Qualification Criteria:
You must be enrolled full-time in a Canadian secondary school, completing three Ontario grade 12 U/M courses or Canadian provincial equivalent by the 2024–2025 academic year.
Have maintained continuous full-time enrollment with no absences from full-time attendance before the 2024–2025 academic year. You must also be registering for the first time at a post-secondary educational institution
This award is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected individuals living in Canada, and international students.
You must fill out the accurate and comprehensive application for admission to the program for which the scholarship is being awarded by September 1, 2024.
