The KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is now accepting applications from International students who dream of studying in Canada.
You can apply for the KILLAM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship if you are an international student passionate about research.
Along with many other privileges, you will enjoy a $60,000 annual stipend for a maximum of two years, as well as a $4,000 travel research allowance over two years
Killam Scholarship was established in honor of Izaak Walton Killam by donations made during her lifetime and via the Will of his widow, Dorothy Johnston Killam.
The main goal of the scholarship is to provide funding for research and advanced education at five Canadian institutions as well as the Canada Council Arts.
Fellowship Breakdown:
- The deadline for the fellowships program is November 2024.
- The fellowship host country is Canada.

- The fellowship program will last for a period of one to two years
Killam Postdoctoral Research Qualification:
- You must not have attended any University of British Columbia to pursue doctoral studies.
- To qualify, you must not be employed by a university or college in a tenure or permanent role. Candidates may apply whether they are currently or temporarily employed, term, or non-tenure track faculty members.
- English is the required language.
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- You must have finished your PhD requirements no later than 24 months before the fellowship is scheduled to begin

How to Apply for the Research Fellowship?
- Create a duplicate of your original academic transcripts or get one.
- Forward these to your home university, and request that it:
- Check to make sure the photocopies match their documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of the copies and affix the official university stamp to them.
- Place the stamped and attested copies in sealed envelopes that have the Registrar’s endorsement.
