The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars was established by Congress in 1968 as a lasting memorial to President Woodrow Wilson.
The Center’s main aim is to foster a connection between academic research and real-world policy issues, particularly those relevant to Washington officials.
By conducting independent research and facilitating open dialogue, the Center delves into global issues and generates insights that can inform policy decisions.
After applying, you will undergo a thorough screening process, involving assessments by both internal and external experts at the Wilson Center, as well as specialists with pertinent expertise.
Ultimately, all grant awards are subject to the final approval of the Center’s Board of Trustees Fellowship Committee and available funding.
The Wilson Center is committed to leveraging its deep expertise and innovative thinking to tackle contemporary policy challenges and bring scholars together to facilitate a global exchange of ideas, on which Congress, the administration, and the global policy community can build.
