The IREX Community Engagement Exchange Program is designed to bring together aspiring leaders from all over the world to learn from each other and share ideas on how to build a strong and interconnected society.
The program will last for one year. Selected applicants will have the chance to live and work in the US, visit different areas, and connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Participants through this, will learn how to impact their local communities and cause positive wherever they find themselves.
The Community Engagement Exchange Program aims to inspire upcoming leaders on how to use the knowledge acquired from the program for good use.
Selected applicants will be trained on how to organize community engagement programs and how they can benefit the community in general.
Through the program, participants can create great partnerships and socialize with their colleagues and mentors.
The Community Engagement Exchange Program helps participants to learn and upgrade their knowledge on how to impact society. Only young leaders between the ages of 21 to 27 are eligible to apply.
This program prioritizes cultural interaction, and diversity, and aims to equip young leaders with the skill set to build a sustainable society.

Benefits of the IREX Community Engagement Exchange Program:
- A monthly stipend will be provided to each participant to cover accommodation, food, and living expenses.
- Every participant’s health insurance will pay for this.
- Participants in the program get assistance with their J-1 visas.
- Participants will get travel grants to come to the US from their native countries.
Eligibility:
- When applying, the candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 28.
- Two years of professional or volunteer experience is a requirement for the application
