Who Qualifies to Apply?
- You must show a strong research interest.
- Before application, you must get a Charles Darwin University supervisor.
- Enroll in a Charles Darwin University Charles Darwin University course that has been accredited.
- You must fulfill all the necessary income requirements.
How Do You Benefit?
- You will be paid a yearly taxable amount of AU$16,096 if you are a part-time student, or a tax-free amount of AU$32,192 if you are a full-time student.
- Again, you will enjoy a traveling allowance of up to $2,000 for local students and $2,500 for international students.
- You will also benefit from paid maternity and sick leave.
How to Apply for the Research Training Program Scholarship?
A copy of your most recent passport, birth certificate, or residency visa which serves as proof of citizenship.
In a situation of name change, you must show documentation to prove it.
A copy of all of your official graduate-level transcripts and certificates. Transcripts for any past coursework done at Charles Darwin University are not required. This is important if you are applying for a PhD through prior publication.
Show proof of supervision. This can be done through email exchanges with your prospective supervisor. This shows that at least a member of the Charles Darwin University academic staff has consented to oversee your research.
Submit your research outline in 1500 to 1700 in a maximum of four pages. Your outline should include the project title, general field of research, proposed principal supervisor, brief description, ethical considerations, resource implications, fieldwork requirements, and any other relevant issues to the research.
