The 2025 MCW Young Leaders Fellowship Program is now accepting applications from international students who want to participate in a fully funded leadership and exchange program in the United States.
This program is open to young people aged 18 to 26 from all over the world who are passionate about addressing community projects related to economic security, health, and education.
Throughout the year, participants will focus on developing self-awareness, global citizenship, leadership skills, and vision planning to prepare themselves to lead positive change in their communities.
The program offers a unique opportunity for dedicated and hardworking individuals to collaborate with peers and educators, developing creative solutions and implementing tangible project-based activities that make a real difference in local communities.
Key components of the program include project development, alumni mentoring and collaboration, and community needs assessment.
You will be encouraged to think innovatively and develop practical solutions to address the identified issues within your local communities. You can also apply for the Harvard University Mountaintop Fellowship with Leadership Training and a $3,600 Grant

The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship Program 2025 in the USA offers full scholarships to you as an international applicant, allowing you to visit the country at no expense. Information on award coverage is provided below:
- Your traveling cost from your home country to the USA will be taken care of.
- If you are joining from the United States, the cost of your domestic flight will be covered.
- Accommodations for the night of July 5–July 15, 2025
- Every day from July 6 to July 15, 2025, three meals
- Return journey getting to and from JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark Airports using public transportation from New York, New York to Burlington, Vermont
Selection Criteria:
When submitting an online application for the MCW Young Leaders Fellowship Program, you must fulfill the requirements listed below:
Show a dedication to your community
Determine a problem about economic security, health, or education in your society
Be between the ages of 18 and 26 on June 1, 2025, the program’s start date
Possess excellent written and speaking English
Commit to conducting the Community needs assessment in June, participating in the 10-day in-person program in July, and focusing on completing your community project during the following year
Possess internet and email connection to enable regular communication during the program’s year-long duration with the MCW Global Team and Young Leaders Fellowship alumni mentor
Follow the Young Leaders Fellowship graduation requirements (which will be given if you are accepted into the program)
Possess the necessary visa and travel documents;
On or before Friday, November 10, 2024, at 11:59 PM (NYC EST time), submit a completed application.
