The Carnegie Ethics Fellowship offers bright young professionals the opportunity to develop as leaders and model responsible, values-driven leadership.
As a fellow, you will work together on initiatives selected by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, allowing you to contribute to projects with a global impact.
The two-year Fellowship aims to nurture the next generation of ethical leaders across non-governmental, commercial, and government sectors.
It is part of the Carnegie Council’s commitment to advancing leadership ethics and supporting communities dedicated to integrating moral decision-making with impactful action.
The Fellowship is supported by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, founded by Andrew Carnegie in 1911 to promote knowledge and understanding.

- Two letters of recommendation and a 500-word maximum personal statement that answers the following questions addressed to Brian Mateo and Kathleen Egan:
- Why are you interested in a fellowship that focuses on ethical leadership?
- What ethical dilemmas have you encountered in your line of work, business, or organization?
- Which ethical topic would you like to investigate throughout the two-year fellowship?
- In what ways may ethical leadership abilities be applied in both personal and professional contexts?
Requirements for Selection:
You must be at the professional level of your career with increasing responsibility for leadership
A strong desire to lead with values in both personal and international contexts.
A growth in understanding of yourself and how issues in international affairs relate to one another
The capacity to cooperate well with others and work in multicultural, multisectoral, and multistakeholder teams
You must be aged between 25 to 35 years.
Date, Procedure, and Location of Fellowship Program Interview:

The deadline for applying to be a Carnegie Ethics Fellow is October 15th, 2024.
By October 15th, 2024, the Carnegie Council certifies receipt of your materials.
Initially scheduled interviews with Carnegie personnel are between October 15, 2024, and November 15, 2024
You will receive a notification as a selected finalist on 18 December 2024
