Applications are now open for the DAAD Master of International and Development Economics (MIDE) Scholarship 2025. This scholarship program in Germany is fully funded and is available to international students who want to pursue a master’s degree at HTW Berlin University.
HTW Berlin, the largest university of applied sciences in Berlin, offers an 18-month full-time Master’s degree program in “International and Development Economics” (MIDE). This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the economic challenges facing developing and transitional countries.
The program is taught entirely in English and is open to students from developing and transitional countries, as well as those from Germany and other developed countries who have a special interest in global economic affairs and development.
The curriculum is carefully crafted to prepare students for careers in areas related to international economics and development. The program covers a wide range of topics, including trade, finance, economic policy, and sustainable development.

Financial Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Have a first university degree with 180 ECTS (or equivalent).
- Have at least two years of professional experience since graduation (and graduated within the last six years).
- Have at least 15 ECTS in Economics (3 modules for international applicants).
- Provide proof of English language proficiency.
