The Student Researcher Program at Google is designed to cultivate academic partnerships between students and the company, centring on collaborative research initiatives.
As a paid Student Researcher, you will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with Google engineers and research scientists on innovative projects that push the boundaries of knowledge.
This program is tailored for research students who desire more autonomy in their work compared to traditional internships.
Students involved in the program can explore significant research topics in an open-ended manner, allowing for greater creativity and exploration without the constraints of a predefined goal.
Additionally, the Student Researcher Program offers exceptional flexibility, enabling participants to choose between on-site or remote work options. This adaptability extends beyond just location; it also encompasses variations in the duration of engagement and time commitments required.
Targeting students who are enrolled in full-time degree programs within the EMEA region, the program is particularly beneficial for those who intend to return to their academic pursuits after the completion of their research experience.
To qualify for the Student Researcher Program, candidates must remain engaged throughout the entire period in one of the designated country locations. This innovative structure is designed to empower students, enrich their academic journeys, and contribute meaningful insights to Google’s ongoing research endeavours.
