HAN Scholarships Breakdown:

Required Documents for Application:

  • A thorough description of your training, professional background, and accomplishments should be included in your curriculum vitae (CV).
  • A little video clip describing yourself in a three-minute video, highlight your strengths, ask friends or former instructors about you, share your selected HAN course of study, discuss your professional goals, and predict where you see yourself in ten years.
  • Write a motivation letter outlining your reasons for thinking you will succeed in HAN

Qualification Critiria:

  • The candidates cannot have previously enrolled in a degree program at a Dutch institution or university of applied sciences.
  • Show that you are proficient in English by obtaining a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE), a TOEFL iBT score of 90, or an IELTS score of at least 6.5.
  • Provide proof that you are enrolled in HAN University of Applied Sciences’ full-time degree program taught in English.
  • Candidates must be citizens of a country outside the EU or EEA.

HAN Scholarships Benefits:

  • Benefits for Master Degree students
    • The HAN NL Scholarship will pay out €2,500 each of the first and second semesters, for a total of €5,000.
    • Honors Scholarship is given to first-year exceptional students automatically. The second semester is when you will receive a €2,500 one-time payment. Students who were not awarded a HAN Holland scholarship are eligible.
  • Benefits for Bachelor Degree students
    • HAN NL Scholarship worth €2,500 is given in the first and second semesters, followed by €2,500 every year for the following three years, provided that 45 credits are completed each year.
    • Honors Scholarship is given to first-year students who demonstrate academic excellence automatically. €2,500 is given out in the second year and then every year after that, as long as 45 credits are completed every year. Students who meet minimal requirements and those who do not have a HAN Holland scholarship are eligible.
