The Humboldt Research Fellowships are open to postdoctoral and experienced researchers from all fields and nationalities who wish to conduct research in Germany. German nationals are eligible to apply if they have been residing overseas for more than ten years.
The program also includes the Georg Forster Fellowship, which is specifically designed for researchers from developing nations working towards the sustainable development of their countries.
The Selection Committee meets annually in November, July, and March to review applications. Requirements:
You must be a researcher with a track record of distinction.
You must be a researcher in postdoctoral studies:
Eligible candidates must possess a finished doctorate (or its equivalent) and be within six months of finishing it, along with a synopsis of their findings.
Published works in peer-reviewed journals worldwide.
You must possess a strong publishing record and have finished your doctorate within the last 12 years.
All nationalities and ethnicities are welcome to apply for the fellowship, which is inclusive.
