The Hurford Youth Fellowship is a three-month leadership training program in the USA. The four main tenets of the program are Educational training, fieldwork, service learning, and professional development.
After gaining theory knowledge, fellows are deployed to institutions in their localities to gain practical experience with what they have learned.
The program aims to train selected applicants on how to be great leaders in society. The Hurford Youth Fellowship operates in such a way that Fellows collaborate to work on providing solutions to societal issues while also building their leadership skills.
Also, selected applicants get to tour the United States with the aim of networking and learning from other Young leaders.
The Hurford Youth Fellowship will help to develop the leadership skills of fellows who have political ambitions and how to excel in any institution they find themselves in.
Within the three months, Fellows will receive extensive training on how to contribute to the democratic agenda of their home counties. The age group for selection is between 18 and 30 years.
These are young people who are eager to build their leadership skills and also contribute to creating an impartial society. Fellows are selected based on their societal impact and their track record of excelling in leadership roles they have played.
