The Emory University Scholar Programs offer half or full scholarships based on merit, providing you with the tools and support needed to reach your full potential and make a positive impact on the university, Atlanta, and the global community.
It’s important to note that as long as you maintain high levels of academic and personal excellence and meet program criteria, these scholarships are renewable for up to eight regular academic-year semesters of undergraduate study.

It was originally founded as “Emory College” in 1836 by the Methodist Episcopal Church. Emory University is the second-oldest private university in Georgia and is named in honor of Methodist bishop John Emory.

Requirement for Selection:
All students are eligible to apply for the scholar programs, regardless of their citizenship.
You will participate in activities and interviews aimed at a deeper understanding of Emory University and the unique opportunities that await you.
In addition to being immediately examined for other minor merit-based scholarships, those not chosen as finalists for a program are nevertheless thoroughly reviewed for admission under the terms of the application plan selected.
The financial aid application process is not connected in any way with the Scholar selection process. Merit scholarships are given out ahead of financial aid when you qualify for both.
If your needs are still unmet after receiving a merit scholarship, you may also be qualified for need-based grants and loans through the financial assistance application process.
Date, Procedure, and Location of Interviews:
Only one of the following programs Emory Scholars, Oxford Scholars, or Goizueta Scholars will be open to finalists.
The deadline for applying to the Emory University Scholar Programs is November 15th,2024. If you are interested in Early Decision, apply by November 1st.
Faculty and admissions committees evaluate applications between October to January.
The Scholar Finalists are selected and notified by the end of February.
Finalists visit the campus in early April. Announcement of membership in scholar programs.
The enrollment deposit deadline is May 1.

You must choose one of the three admission decision plans; Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision and submit all necessary application papers by November 15 to be eligible for any scholarship programs.
If you wish to use Early Decision I, you must apply by November 1st.
Additionally, you have to select yes when asked on your application if you would like to be evaluated for merit scholarships.
