Lakehead University offers a fully supported Masters Scholarship for overseas students pursuing a Master of Environmental Studies (MES) with a concentration on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and LiDAR.

The university awards graduate scholarships based on academic merit and graduate bursaries based on financial necessity and merit. You need to submit your applications before the deadline, as late or incomplete applications will not be considered for awards.
You will only receive notification provided you are selected, and you need to be registered to receive funding.
Additionally, any remaining amount on your account will be added to your graduate awards, which are only given if your fees have been paid in full.

Selection Criteria:
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must:
Have experience in GIS and related fields experience with LiDAR, remote sensing, and geographic information systems.
ArcGIS Pro software proficiency is required for the research project.
The ability to program computers is necessary for creating GIS-based models.
