The British Academy, also known as the National Academy for the Social Sciences and Humanities in the United Kingdom, is providing valuable support for the Innovation Fellowships program, which is generously funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) of the UK Government.
This innovative program aims to address and overcome challenges across a wide range of sectors in the UK, including the creative and cultural, public, private, commercial, and policy sectors.
The Innovation Fellowships program facilitates collaboration between researchers in the humanities and social sciences and businesses and organizations.
It offers a dual-route program, allowing experienced researchers to engage with UK-based partner organizations for up to one year. This collaboration aims to address specific policy or societal issues and advance the program’s objectives.
The program offers two pathways for researchers to participate in. Both provide opportunities for researchers to work closely with partner organizations to contribute to the resolution of real-world challenges.
This collaboration not only benefits the researchers and partner organizations involved but also contributes to the overall progress and development of the sectors and communities in the UK.
The British Academy’s initiative brings together disciplines from the humanities and social sciences to gain a deeper understanding of the world and collectively work towards shaping a more promising future for all.
This program underscores the importance of collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches in addressing complex societal issues and fostering positive change.
