The Valencia College Global Achievers Award is designed to recognize and support outstanding performance by new international students.
The award ranges from $500 to $2,500 based on academic achievements at the secondary level, with a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.

Qualification Criteria:
Application materials listed on the ISS Application Requirements page must be sent along with a Valencia College application for admission.
Send in a scholarship application with a question for the essay.
You shall have completed secondary school and earned a least 3.0 grade point average at the time of admission.
You must be a first-time candidate for college or has never before attended a university or college.
Intends to enroll as a foreign student with an F-1 visa.
You must submit materials by the specified deadline.
You must enroll in full-time classes in the first semester that total at least 12 credit hours.

Students must be prepared to present their general equivalency Diploma, official secondary school transcripts, graduation certificate, and or test results, together with a certified English translation, in order to apply.
You must hold an associate in arts degree and have completed high school in order to apply to the program.
If English is not your first language, you must demonstrate that you have sufficient language proficiency to succeed in your coursework.
